PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The 2015 International Conference on Collaboration Technologies and Systems (CTS 2015) is an exciting forum that brings together scientists and researchers from academia as well as managers and engineers from industry and government organizations to meet and exchange ideas and recent work on all aspects of Collaboration computing systems and Technologies, their design and use, their roles and impact, and their applications. The conference will consist of technical sessions, workshops and special sessions, tutorials, demos, exhibits, doctoral dissertation colloquium, and panels. These will present original and fundamental research advances in the subject areas. Topics of interest include all aspects of collaboration and their technologies and application domains. Panel proposals may address a broad range of topics including people, clouds, sensors, social networks and analysis, language and culture, multimedia and visualization, collaborative robots and human-robot interaction, autonomous connected vehicles, e-learning, e-business, e-health, emergency response, knowledge management, decision making and support, global collaboration grids, P2P, multi-agent systems, collective intelligence, crowd sourcing, trust and cyber security, mobile clients and wireless interactions, Web 2.0 collaboration technologies, virtual environments, ubiquitous collaboration, wearable gadgets and tools, social innovation, user interfaces and related human and socio-technical collaboration issues. We welcome any relevant and timely subject.

PANEL PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

Panels are a great way to generate debate and raise provocative and new issues at CTS. We solicit panel proposals on hot, contemporary, visionary, innovative, or controversial topics by leading experts on the subject of collaboration computing systems and technologies or their applications areas. A proposal should focus on a specific topic of current or emerging interest. They should be provocative and innovative, informative, and exciting. A proposal should include the following information:

  • Panel's topic and title

  • Panel organizer's name, affiliation, and contact information

  • Panelists' names, affiliation, contact information, and biographies

  • A one-page abstract that clearly describes the panel purpose and scope as well as main ideas and format.

  • Position Statements from the panelists are also welcomed but not required at the proposal time.
